As shown in Fig. 1, a photovoltaic-energy storage-integrated charging station (PV-ES-I CS) is a novel component of renewable energy charging infrastructure that combines distributed PV, battery energy storage systems, and EV charging systems.
The integrated photovoltaic, storage and charging system adopts a hybrid bus architecture. Photovoltaics, energy storage and charging are connected by a DC bus, the storage and charging efficiency are greatly improved compared with the traditional AC bus.
The results provide a reference for policymakers and charging facility operators. In this study, an evaluation framework for retrofitting traditional electric vehicle charging stations (EVCSs) into photovoltaic-energy storage-integrated charging stations (PV-ES-I CSs) to improve green and low-carbon energy supply systems is proposed.
Moreover, a coupled PV-energy storage-charging station (PV-ES-CS) is a key development target for energy in the future that can effectively combine the advantages of photovoltaic, energy storage and electric vehicle charging piles, and make full use of them .
